壁や柱は構造として堅牢であるだけでなく、ここは安全な場所なのだという信頼感をもたらすだろう。
季節や一日の時の移ろいを窓からの景色や差し込む光の中に、人は今を生きていることを感じる。
こうしてあらゆる要素がバランス良く配置され、一つに統合されて初めて建築となる。
設計とは人の心を豊かにする場を築く営みなのである。
